SPINALCORE, VINCI’S BUILDING OPERATING SYSTEM

In 2021, Vinci launched Archipel, an ambitious project of 5 buildings, including a high-rise tower, for a total surface area of 74,000 square meters of offices located in Nanterre. Intended to house the group’s head office, this building needs to be a real showcase of its know-how and its ability to innovate in terms of digitalization.

THE REASONS FOR CHOOSING THE BOS SPINALCORE

For this large-scale project, which crystallizes high demands and ambitions for the group, Vinci has chosen to integrate the BOS SpinalCore from SpinalCom.

Houda Matta, Smart Building Manager and Aymeric Tissandier, Building Solutions Director at VINCI Energies, explain the reasons that led the group to choose a BOS for its head office, as well as to the various stages of setting up SpinalCore on the Archipel project.

the reasons for the implementation of a bos on the archipel project

“Vinci’s flagship needed to be a smart building”, recalls Houda Matta, “a building rich in data from various origins (BMS, CMMS, Parking, access control, occupant mobile application, etc.) intended to provide services that can be enriched over time. For that, we had to be able to contextualize and organize this data in such a way as to extract its full potential, in a logic of interoperability and decompartmentalization.”

“We wanted to provide an infrastructure that made data accessible, reliable and easy to use, as an opportunity to develop new services,” adds Aymeric Tissandier. The whole challenge was to design a building that ages well, that does not remain frozen in its original version and that is able to adapt to changes in uses and therefore in the services offered thanks to an evolving digital infrastructure  to manage the building’s digital assets over the long term.”

THE BENEFITS OF THE bos SPINALCORE FOR vinci Energies

“The implementation of the BOS SpinalCore made it possible to improve asset management decisions and to better use the potential of the 5 buildings of the Archipel project. By collecting as much data as possible from various origins, by contextualizing it, by organizing it and above all by making it converge, SpinalCore has indeed made it possible to enrich the services offered in order to make buildings truly intelligent”.
